Corrections Policy
When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly, openly and on the story itself.
How we correct
- Corrections: when a story contains a factual error, we fix it and add a dated correction notice at the top of the article explaining what was wrong.
- Clarifications: when a story was accurate but could be misunderstood, we add a clarification.
- Updates: when a developing story changes, we update it and show the time of the latest update.
We don't quietly change facts in published stories. Minor fixes to spelling, grammar or formatting that don't change meaning may be made without a notice.
Removing stories
We very rarely remove a published story. We may do so for legal reasons, to protect someone's safety, or when a court orders it. When we remove or significantly change a story for these reasons, we explain why where we legally can.
Report an error
Email corrections@inforyx.in or use the contact form and choose “Report an error”. Include the story link and what you believe is wrong. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and to correct confirmed errors as soon as they are verified.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can raise a complaint through our Grievance Redressal process.
