Who can complain

Anyone who believes Inforyx content breaches the Code of Ethics under Part III of the IT Rules, 2021 (for example, an inaccurate, unfair or harmful report) can raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.

How to complain

Write to the Grievance Officer (details below) or use the contact form and choose “Grievance”. Please include:

  • your name and contact details;
  • a link to the content and, if relevant, the specific part you're complaining about;
  • why you believe it breaches the Code of Ethics or the law, with any supporting evidence.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your grievance within the time shown below.
  • The Grievance Officer reviews the complaint, may contact you for more information, and decides on it within the time shown below.
  • We tell you our decision and the reasons for it. If we find the content in breach, we correct, update or, where necessary, remove it.

If you're not satisfied

Under the IT Rules there are three levels of grievance redressal. Level I is Inforyx itself. If you are not satisfied with our decision, or don't hear back in time, you may appeal to the self-regulating body of which we are a member (Level II): [name and contact of self-regulatory body]. Level III is the oversight mechanism of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Publication of grievances

As required by the Rules, we will publish monthly disclosures of grievances received and actions taken on this page.
